Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT)
The HEMTT is an eight-wheel run-flat drive, diesel-powered, and 10-short-ton tactical truck. Its objective is to provide heavy transport capabilities for the supply and re-supply of weapon systems and combat military vehicles. Compared to earlier generation 5-ton tactical trucks in the United States Army service, it offers increased payload and mobility.
